Jonny Clarke
Founder & Head Chef, The Holestone Catering
With a passion for bold, fresh flavors and a deep commitment to showcasing local produce, Jonny Clarke brings a wealth of experience and culinary expertise to The Holestone Catering. A seasoned chef with a remarkable career spanning multiple countries and top-tier kitchens, Jonny honed his skills at some of the most prestigious establishments in the culinary world.
After learning his trade at the renowned Midsummer House in Cambridge, England, under Michelin-starred Head Chef Daniel Clifford, Jonny's journey took him back to his homeland of Ireland, where he worked alongside Great British Menu finalist Eddie Atwell at St. Kyrons House. His growing expertise and entrepreneurial spirit led him to open several successful restaurants across Northern Ireland, including a standout venture at the prestigious Castlerock Golf Course, recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the world.
In 2018, Jonny founded The Holestone Catering, driven by his passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Since then, the company has catered to high-profile events, including the 2019 and 2025 British Open Golf Tournaments, as well as for the BMW Moto GP Championship Team.
A firm believer in the power of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Jonny has become known for his creative menus that highlight the best of Irish produce. He’s also taken his culinary expertise beyond the kitchen, collaborating with Tesco to host Cooking Tuition Classes for home cooks, inspiring others to explore the art of cooking.
At the heart of his work, Jonny is a chef with a genuine love for his craft, committed to elevating every dining experience with innovation, quality, and passion.
